Sharon joined Material as Chief People Officer in July 2022 to develop the company’s employee experience. She oversees recruiting, onboarding, compensation and benefits, learning and development, people systems, workforce planning, and employer brand.  

Sharon served as Chief People Officer at Publicis Sapient, where she grew the company from 5,000 to 20,000 employees. She also held client-facing roles in the customer experience space for 10 years. Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley. She lives in the Chicago area.
