Dan Knauf is Material’s CTO and guides client and partner technology choices, providing oversight on key engagements. An experienced leader, Dan has successfully led global digital transformations for clients, and the modernization of products and software. Dan has also served as a division-CTO at a $1.8B public company. 

He has a strong background in client-facing engineering roles with extensive experience in consulting and delivering omnichannel experience platforms, DXP’s, cloud migrations, loyalty and ecommerce for Fortune 500 companies. He has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and lives in Chicago, Illinois.
