Creating a unified culture to improve customer experience

AmeriGas, one of the country’s largest propane companies, wanted to align brands and stores nationwide ­­— including a growing number of acquired businesses — to effectively transform its customer experience.

At Material, we know that true customer experience transformation begins with employees, so we launched a program to help employees understand the benefits of being part of a larger company. Our goal was to strengthen pride in AmeriGas’s national family of brands.

The unified message we created boosted employee pride at both the local and national levels. We empowered employees to feel more confident when conversing with customers about price and value, ultimately turning transactional moments into transformational relationships.
