Anil joined Material as Chief Financial Officer in April 2022. His responsibilities include all aspects of the company’s financial management. He brings extensive experience in scaling businesses in rapid growth, fast-changing environments across both large and entrepreneurial companies. Anil’s ability to delivery strategy and structure while maintaining Material’s entrepreneurial culture will be a tremendous asset as Material looks to the future.
Prior to joining Material, Anil held finance leadership roles for multi-billion-dollar divisions of IBM, and CFO roles at private equity backed firms such as EN Engineering and AppViewX, where he steered successful private equity sale and raised capital in the form of debt and equity.
Anil has advised consulting companies, research firms and hedge funds on a variety of finance topics.
Anil holds an MBA from Emory University, an MS from the University of Georgia College of Engineering, and B. Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
